Required Attendance Web Conference

  • Everyone attends class together at the same time via Zoom
  • You choose whether or not to record
  • If you record your classes, you are responsible for publishing them on your Canvas site

Flexible Attendance Web Conference

  • Some students attend via Zoom at the scheduled time while others watch recorded classes

  • Your sessions will begin recording automatically as soon as the Zoom classroom is opened
  • The production department will process and publish your recordings on your Canvas site

Asynchronous

  • All students participate each week on their own schedules while keeping up with posted deadlines

  • You create and design the course with guidance from a course developer

  • Students watch lectures and engage with each other on demand

HyFlex

  • You teach in  a classroom on campus while some students are in the classroom with you and some join via Zoom

  • In most courses, classes are recorded so a third group of students participate asynchronously
  • The AV team will help you set up for each class and the production team will publish your recordings on your Canvas site

Online with Required On-Campus Weekend

  • Student attend web conference classes over Zoom, plus attend an interactive on-campus weekend

  • Students must be present for the entire on-campus experience to earn credit for the course

  • Web conference course format is Attendance Required
