The Teach Partnership program pairs DCE instructors with learning designers to bring engaging, student-centered innovations to life. Whether it’s rethinking an assignment, piloting a new approach, or developing media, our collaborative projects are grounded in authentic engagement, real-world skill development, and deep learning.

Projects vary in scope and timeline, and are tailored to your goals and course

Project Scope	Time Commitment	Lead Time Needed / When to Apply
Small	~3-5 hrs	At least 3 weeks (and up to one semester/15 weeks) in advance of course implementation, depending on project (contemporaneous support possible)
Medium	~5-15 hrs	At least one full semester (15 weeks) in advance of course implementation
Large	15+ hours	At least 2 semesters (and up to one year) in advance of implementation

What You Can Apply to Work On

Teach Partnerships are flexible and customized. Projects may focus on one area—or combine several elements. Examples include:

Assessment / assignment design
Rubric design
Activity design (e.g. roleplay/scenario, debate, design challenge)
Skills assessment or Module 0
Gen AI support (course policy, student-facing chatbots, AI-integrated assignments)
Peer review / Group work
Course community & Engagement (participation models, discussion design, feedback systems)

Multimedia Production

Welcome Videos
Flipped-classroom or explainer videos

Canvas site design and organization
