## Two faculty learning opportunities

Our teaching and learning team is offering [two upcoming faculty learning opportunities](https://forms.gle/GqwB2BWakNpga8PD8) that consist of a series of workshops including *Developing a Critical AI Literacy Framework for DCE* and *Dialogue Across Differences.*

### Dialogue Across Differences

This Faculty Learning Community offers instructors a collegial space to reflect on teaching and practice strategies for cultivating meaningful classroom dialogue. Participants will explore how to: 1) reflect on their own teaching presence, 2) set the stage for dialogue, and 3) navigate hot button moments. Through reflection and peer exchange, instructors will gain practical tools and supportive connections to strengthen dialogue across differences in their teaching.

Three 60-minute sessions will be held on Tuesdays at noon (Oct 7, Oct 21, Nov 4).

### Developing a Critical AI Literacy Framework for DCE

Critical AI literacy is increasingly vital as artificial intelligence shapes teaching, research, and daily life in higher education. The Division of Continuing Education (DCE), in partnership with Teaching and Learning staff, invites faculty from diverse disciplines to join a semester-long Faculty Learning Community (FLC) this fall. Together, participants will review existing AI literacy frameworks and develop a framework for DCE.

Members will be selected to ensure a range of backgrounds and will be recognized as Advisory Board Members for the [DCE AI Critical Literacy Framework](https://teach.dce.harvard.edu/resource/developing-ai-critical-literacy-framework-dce).
