## Classroom Video Production and OpenCast Services

As a branch of DCE’s Technical Operations, the Classroom Video Production and OpenCast Services team specializes in live streaming and recording course content which takes place on campus. Online students may view and participate in campus lectures in real time, or may view videos on demand in an interactive player, depending on the format of the course.

The OpenCast system also acts as a secure video server for flipped classroom content, and an archive of lectures from previous semesters. Instructors are encouraged to work with the Teaching and Learning team to develop ways to effectively utilize these resources.
