Change the Course Home Page

The Course Home Page is the first thing students will see when entering your course. Change your Course Home Page to a different layout option.

Canvas Layouts

Choose from one of three Canvas course site layouts to use as a basic foundation to get your course site up and running. Additions and modifications to the layouts can be made throughout the term.

Build Modules

Modules organize content to help control the flow of the course. Each module can contain files, discussions, assignments, quizzes, and other learning materials.

Linking HOLLIS resources to Canvas

Leverage the Harvard Library resources for your students and respect copyright policy. Linking to a Harvard-licensed resource is the safest and best route because Harvard has already purchased access to that material.

Pages Revision

View the page history and see the date, time, and author of any changes made to the page, and roll back the page content to a previous saved version of the page.

Student View

Interact and view course content from the student experience.
